Stunning property! Can't recommend it enough. Ankit and Yashika are the most wonderful hosts and they go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The tents/rooms are well setup and super comfy, the food is wholesome and the whole place is really well maintained and perfect to spend a relaxed holiday. We were fortunate enough to spend a new year's at Moksham, and it was unforgettable - can't wait to be back again!

Visited in November 2023, bit chilly. The stay is a good distance away from Nainital making it a quiet place visited by the few. The hosts were great and what amazing food with good range of choices. Very good coffee. The stay has amazing views and if that’s not enough you can do nearby treks for more amazing viewpoints.

Tucked away just 10-15 kms off Nainital Road, Moksham Campsite transcends the label of a mere destination; it has evolved into a personal sanctuary, providing a profound retreat into the heart of nature. The breathtaking views, meticulously organized rooms, gastronomic delights, magnetic hosts, and a soul-stirring cafe collectively etched an indelible mark on my soul. **1. The Hospitality:** Upon stepping into my room, warmth wrapped around me like a cozy blanket. The space was neat, inviting, and felt like a true home away from home. The beds were invitingly made, blankets fresh, washrooms immaculately clean, and the provision of hot water ensured a comforting stay. Yashika's personal touch, walking me through every detail, made it clear - this was no ordinary stay. **2. The Food:** Moksham's kitchen isn't merely a culinary space; it's a gateway to an unparalleled food adventure. My return to Moksham wouldn't be for the rooms, views, or even the hosts (now dear friends); it would be solely for the food. We initiated our culinary journey with Veg Kofta upon arrival—a delectable starting point. Over the course of our 3-day stay, the bar just kept getting higher. Ask for the hidden gem on the menu, the Pahadi Chicken, paired excellently with rice. Their pizzas, adorned with locally sourced fresh ingredients, deliver an explosion of freshness right onto your palate, leaving you craving for more. There's an inexplicable magic in the soil and mountain air that elevates the taste of every dish at Moksham. Each time I dined there, the food was exceptionally amazing, enhancing the overall experience of the splendid meals prepared by the staff. The lingering taste of each dish from my stay is something I still miss. If there's one thing I would recommend to readers, it is to visit Moksham, just for the food. **3. The Hosts:** Ankit is like a maestro orchestrating Moksham. To catch him in his element, wake up early and witness how he organizes everything from rations to staff, food, and inventory, running a tight ship with unmatched finesse. His enthralling stories about leopards added an adventurous touch, and catching him over a drink was an experience that demands ample time because you will undoubtedly be hooked. Yashika, along with Deepu, beyond being a host, curated a personal experience with the Naina Peak trek. Guiding us through a small yet rewarding 5-6 km trek that unveiled the most amazing view of Nainital, her infectious love for the place made our conversations not just informative but deeply personal, especially when paired with delightful chai and biscuits at the hilltop. **4. The Cafe:** The pièce de résistance of Moksham Campsite is undeniably its cafe. The heart and soul of the site, the cafe transcends mere four walls; it is an experience in itself. I found myself spending more time there than in the rooms, drawn by the cozy, warm, and safe ambiance. The splendid view provided the perfect backdrop for hours of lost contemplation, sipping hot chai. The meticulous attention to detail within the cafe, from handmade decorations (check out Yashika's YouTube channel @palasah_jivika for this) to meaningful paintings, books about interesting topics, and pictures on the wall, all spoke volumes about the hard work invested. In conclusion, Moksham Campsite wasn't merely a stay; it unfolded as a personal journey, an immersion into nature's embrace. From the well-managed rooms to the gastronomic wonders, magnetic hosts, and the captivating cafe, each aspect spoke intimately to my soul, creating memories that resonate long after saying goodbye to this enchanting retreat. Thanks, Ankit and Yashika, for making this journey truly magical. Until next time!

I had heard a lot about Moksham and hence went with very high expectations and I must say that this place lived up to it very well! Everything about this place was great! Starting from the extremely comfortable rooms made even more cozy with electric blankets. Every meal served in the cafe was wholesome, tasty and prepared with a lot of heart. Cleanliness was top-notch and hospitality unmatched. The best part about this place was the little personal touches added by the hosts to every detail at Moksham, whether it was a personalised picnic in a picturesque location or making sure that their guests comfort is prioritised above all. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the most beautiful location with enough food for your soul & tummy! Take my word. Go for it. Moksham awaits you.
